A 0–100 sentiment score for the crypto market. Low values (fear) mean investors are worried and often selling; high values (greed) mean the market is euphoric. Extremes on either side have historically preceded reversals, which is why traders watch it.
How are top gainers and losers chosen?
We rank coins by their price change over the selected window (1 hour, 24 hours or 7 days). Stablecoins and illiquid coins — under $50k of daily volume or $1M market cap — are excluded so the list isn't dominated by easily manipulated micro-caps.
What do the market bubbles show?
The 60 largest coins by market cap. Each bubble's size shows how big the price move was, and its colour shows direction: green for up, red for down. Hover a bubble for price, market cap and volume.
How often does the data update?
Prices refresh every few minutes and the Fear & Greed Index updates once a day. The page refreshes itself while it's open.
